NOMINATIONS

Nominations for the Gaydio Pride Awards 2024 open on Monday 23rd October 2023 and close on Wednesday 15th November 2023. Following a thorough judging period from an independent community panel, the shortlist will be revealed later in the year and winners announced at the prestigious ceremony in February 2024.

Once the nominations period is closed, an initial sift will take place to confirm eligibility and highlight the most popular and deserving causes – this will be based, although not exclusively on number of votes. Our team will also take into consideration merit, taking into account on the reasons for voting that you have given and ensure that there is a good representation geographically and across the diversity of our community.  No people, organisations or teams will be shortlisted that didn’t get nominated in the open categories.

At the next stage, an independent community panel will decide a shortlist of three nominees (inclusive of the winner), with the winner of the shortlist revealed on the night of the awards. The deliberation process takes place at a special event on Thursday 23rd November 2023 at Hart Shoreditch.

COMMUNITY PANEL

The community panel are independent of Gaydio and work across a variety of sectors both publicly and privately. The panel will be carefully selected to be as fair as possible and will be published on the website when the nominations period has come to a close. Whilst popularity won’t be a deciding factor in the shortlist process, it will be taken into account so we encourage multiple nominations.
